Here is an interesting one from Adeel Chowdhry and James Denzel.

The sales video makes me feel that there is a massive hype going on here.  James Denzel walks around his mansion talking to the camera, takes a drive to the airport and boards “his” private jet. (see video) He constantly tries to distinguish himself from other IM Gurus, mostly by attempting to offend and intimidate the viewer:

“If you’re a sensitive petal you might want to click off this page since I’m not gonna mince my words. I’m betting you are pretty much a failure when it comes to making money online, you are clueless. Be honest… you’ve pretty much failed at everything you’ve tried so far online. You are not getting anywhere and it’s crunch time.”

I have to confess that I started to wonder how this pitch would register in potential clients. I personally didn’t fancy his style or demeanor. He appeared cocky and quite frankly not as sophisticated as he was trying to look. He appeared fake! He claims to be rich, but that assertion didn’t ring congruent to me.

But he did something interesting: He constantly invites you to “click of” and quite frankly I did. He lacked authenticity and simply didn’t impress me. He needs more acting lessons, or even better sell an authentic product that he believes in.

So I did my own independent research and found out that his customers were not happy, the product didn’t work properly and his customer service was, well, non-existent. I’m a bit surprised, because Adeel Chowdhry has been associated with better quality in the past. He’s actually known to over-deliver. How did his name get associated with this product?

One fact is alarming: there is no clear description of the product in the sales pitch. It feels almost as though they are hiding something. I have been in sales and marketing for over 30 years and anytime I have seen this used it is done to intimidate rather than persuade. … When was the last time you bought something sight unseen with no detailed description of the item just because someone said you were stupid if you didn’t?”

Larry: “… This was quite a lesson for me. Perhaps this will help others. My suggestion is to run from James Denzel as fast as you can as it is my belief that he is just another “GURU”, you know the guys he warns you to stay away from.”

Mark: “I purchased this product and like others was vastly disappointed with the “trainer”. It seemed to me that the trainer themselves didn’t know what they were doing. As a result they make lots of mistakes, go back and forward, and not to mention the accent! I have a very hard time understanding this specific accent and cannot recommend the product because of it.”

dave: “Pleaee do not buy this product. It is a program that physically does not work. I have 10 open tickets to support and not one has been answer for over 49 hours. The software has a severe log in problem.”

Added 6th June ’11: I just came across this link which totally exposes this James Denzel character to be absolute fake. His face was even photo-shopped over George Clooney’s face, showing him having a grand time with pretty ladies: http://kpfingaz.com/2011/05/james-denzel-click-cash-guy/. It was actually from a Martini ad. How pathetic.
